OK. I like spending time by myself, at the gym, at Starbucks, at the computer. My roommate & I moved here from Lake County where I was a public defender. I am in semi-retired mode right now. I have healthy habits and am generally in a good mood. I became 62 in November. It is weird having attained this symbolic (and real) age! I like real, as opposed to superficial, conversation. I hope this discourse has piqued your interest.

Tell us what you like to do in your spare time or for entertainment.

Well...even though I am not formally employed, I find I have no "spare time." I mean, I have no idle time. I help run the household (with my roommate). Get up in the morning and read the Wall Street Journal with coffee. Spend some time on the computer, including looking around for legal clients. Sometimes gok ato the gym. Somehow such activities take up my waking hours. I do want to see the film, "Frost/Nixon." I remember those days very well.

Tell us about your tastes (music, film, art, books, etc.)

As for music, I do like the 60's pop stuff. I was a student at UC Berkeley in the mid-sixties: Aretha Franklin, Beetles, Rolling Stones etc. Also like Nina Simone and suchlike. Some classical music. Books: I have from the library now two titles: PROZAC BACKLASH and THE NOONDAY DEMON. Used to read a lot, now lack time.

Well.....pretty much all social groups that become available to me. Then I'll see what happens.

I want to try all groups and see how they work out.
