What iz Art?
Tell us what you like to do in your spare time or for entertainment.
Have been taking film making classes at Los Rios Community Colleges and plan to take a lot more. Lifetime interests have been art, architecture, urban design, philosophy and web design. Like to hang out at coffee shops and sidewalk cafes working on my many projects on a laptop while checking out the cute guys. I carry a digital camera just about everywhere in my cargo shorts and take hundreds of pictures a month. Also play the piano and like jazz improvisation, Spend a lot of time surfing the web.
Tell us about your tastes (music, film, art, books, etc.)
Jazz piano, classical piano. Also like ethnic --Italian, Mexican. Prefer independent, foreign and gay themed films. Have around 500 gay themed videos. Most of my reading is technical or on art, film, travel, music or current issues. But like a good mystery.
What kind of social activities are you looking for? (Optional)
Eating out, movies, group activities, day trips. Prefer activities rather than chit-chat. I generally prefer places where there is a younger, hip crowd like the beach, edgy art galleries, jazz and film festivals, hi-tech conventions, etc. But not into the club scene. I have a large variety of interests and especially like learning activities -- adult ed. classes in almost anything.
What kinds of groups would you like to participate in? (Optional)
Anything having to do with art, film, urban design, photography, technology, movies, eating out, day trips and travel.
What kind of relationships are you looking for and what do you prefer in a partner. (Optional)
Interested in meeting people of all ages, sexes and orientations for just friends. Generally look for younger men (27 - 55) for relationships but cute, brains and personality trump age. You should be through college, on a good career path, able to pay your own way and preferably be somewhat creative and adept in technologies. If you do not have a good, well-rounded profile with additional pictures in a gallery, you will probably get a short answer.
What are your travel interests or plans? (Optional)
Always interested in day trips to the coast, city or mountains. And would be interested in a road trip up to Seattle or down to Tucson and possibly Santa Fe and Taos. Looking down the road for a trip to Europe in Summer or Fall of 2010. For travel companions I am not particular as to sex, orientation or age, but would prefer that you have some interest in art, architecture, geology, geography, urban design, or history etc. that enriches your travel rather then just making trips to tourist traps, the bars or buying tourist trinkets..

Slow Food and Music at Noon in Sacramento

I first got into the Sacramento Farmers Market scene in 2003 after I retired and rented an art studio at 10th and J Street in downtown Sacramento. Kitty-corner across from my studio was Cesare Chavez Plaza and I soon discovered that it was host to a vibrant Farmers Market every Wednesday. I also discovered that the Westminster Presbyterian Church, which was just a couple of blocks across the Capitol grounds, also had a bag lunch concert every Wednesday at noon.

So my schedule was set. Ev… Continue

Hi Jim,
Great meeting today, think it was good in many ways. Was nice to see you there again and to meet your friend Greg. Yep, I changed the picture today as the other one you might have noticed as well. Will be on trying to do this later this evening. Hope things are well. Jess
