I'm looking to meet someone mature and responsible and loves a good conversation. Patience is a key as it can take me some time to warm up and I can read honesty pretty well... so that is a must! For men, be manly and masculine. For women... don't be the same. I may be a slight a-hole at times; but I'm an honest one 0:)

I finally have grown a pair and have started to take control of where I am going in life. I am back in school studying one of my many passions, and I am living one day at a time enjoying every minute I can. I love the outdoors. One of the biggest reasons I love this city is you can look out your window and see more trees and "wildlife" than most other towns and cities in this area. Culture and History are two of my biggest passions in life; get me going on these subjects and I'm sure I would either bore you with my nonstop talk, or frighten you with the amount of drool that a grown man can accumulate on the front of his shirt. I have done my time working for "the man" and it is my hope to one day work in a non-profit organization that works WITH the man (and you ladies too out there!)

Tell us what you like to do in your spare time or for entertainment.

In my spare time I love to take short walks around the neighborhood. I have recently become addicted to coffee, so you my usually find me at a local family run coffee shop reading a bit of SNR horoscope. I love to explore the country with a close friend. Eating out and seeing plays, musicals or films rule, but I also enjoy quiet time at home by a fire with a home cooked meal. Although I like to get crazy once in a blue moon, clubs and drinks with loud music and crazy people are not my thing.

Tell us about your tastes (music, film, art, books, etc.)

I love all music and all types of film. Don't be suprised if you see a collection of movie soundtracks or international music CD's in my collection. I love a good soundtrack because its one of the best ways to get such a quick, diverse spread of music.

What kind of social activities are you looking for? (Optional)

I'm looking for social activities or groups that can help get me out of the house at minimal financial expense. I really love to travel and enjoy a good day trip to the coast or mountains for a hike. Since I've moved out to Sac from Santa Rosa, I don't get out as much as I'd like to.

What kinds of groups would you like to participate in? (Optional)

I want to go River Rafting!!! I've never been and I'm too nervous to go with people I have never met or talked with before. I can be pretty shy and cautious so I definitely need to feel I can trust at least someone to dive in after me when I flop out (most likely it will be when we disembark from the shore... I have an awkward sense of balance and direction at times).

What kind of relationships are you looking for and what do you prefer in a partner. (Optional)

Please don't even try to get with me or get to know me if all you are looking for are "friends with benefits". To me a friend with benefits is someone I can call up for a quick jaunt out for some coffee and a debate. I don't do the casual sex thing. I am looking for someone who wants a long term committed relationship. I eventually plan on purchasing own house with a modest plot of land. I need someone who is financially stable and independent, and someone who has a good and loving head on there shoulders.

What are your travel interests or plans? (Optional)

I'm tired of learning and witnessing history through books and movies. One of these days I will find my way to Europe. I want to visit and touch the ruined walls of Constantinople... pay my respects to a bombed out cathedral in Berlin... or just relax on a cool damp bike ride on the Irish Coast.
