I'm a divorced dad. Professional, educated and driven, but down to earth. I don't feel as old as I look. Still trying to figure out what the hell happened and where I was when it did. I always read that Gen X started in 1965, which is when I was born. I'm not quite ready to become part of the boomers. :-)

I'm very involved with my kids and their school. I'm fairly traditional regarding family. I find the humor in almost everything. Frequently, that inside thought comes out of my mouth and I'm hearing it for the first time with everyone else. Believe me, I'm just as shocked as you are.

Tell us what you like to do in your spare time or for entertainment.

I like hanging out with friends, conversation, going to coffee, movies, working out, running, day trips, hiking....eating.

Tell us about your tastes (music, film, art, books, etc.)

Most of my friends think I'm a closeted straight guy. I can't match colors. I HATE musicals. I find art and museums boring. I don't read for fun, but I do like reading about new theories and concepts related to my job.

That said, I LOVE comedies.The Simpson's and The Hangover are my favorite movies so far. The Family guy is my guilty pleasure. I like most types of music.

What kind of social activities are you looking for? (Optional)

I'd like to find other guys to hang out with and go to the movies, watch sports, or TV. I'd also like to find someone in Elk Grove to go to the gym and run with.

What kinds of groups would you like to participate in? (Optional)

I would participate in professional groups. I'm a public speaker, focusing on management and leadership training. I'd also like to meet other divorced dads.

What kind of relationships are you looking for and what do you prefer in a partner. (Optional)

I want to make friends and develop professional relationships. If I find someone to date in the mean time, all the better.
